This describes me to a T. In my legal profession, so many of my colleagues reach out to me whenever they need help but it rarely occurs to me to do the same.

Now that I have decided to pivot into copywriting, I know I can barely afford to remain the lone ranger I have always been. I need people to take the journey with, to make it easier, faster, more fun, and more impactful.

I have no problem helping others, but don’t always think to ask for it myself. It just doesn’t occur to me. I am also a lot harder on myself than I would be on anyone else. The article reminds me of a quote, “If you would go fast, go alone. If you would go far, go with others.” That may not be exact, but I am sure you get the point. I still have to remind myself of it. I also haven’t leaped into marketing myself regularly. I have gotten better about telling people what I do though! Thanks for sharing your experience in this great article.
