Derek Little - I think Steve just did solve his tax 'problem' but now he has a nice new one since he is making more money. Nice problem to have. Onward and upward - in tax brackets - Steve. Very encouraging to newbies such as myself to see your success. It motivates us to get off our butts and prospect.

Great update, Steve. I've been working with a water-industry publisher for a while, mostly writing case studies for their water group. Someone from their marketing division contacted me to ask about a case study, but her budget was less than I'd been getting. I asked if she could raise the rate to meet what the water group was paying, but she said she had a fixed budget - however, she offered me a series of 6 case studies and mentioned there was a lot of other work available from their department. I took the offer, and so far have completed one of the six case studies and just finished writing copy for a brochure. So sometimes you have to give a little/take a little. Some other things I look at - they're really nice to work with and pay quickly!

Anyway, I really like your comment about always moving forward, and keep prospecting!
