So often as freelance business owners we forget that we are a business trying to make money.

I typically set daily goals such as “send 5 marketing emails” or “write two blog posts”, but I think I may change my thinking to the daily earning goal. Gives me a more concrete outcome for the actions I’m taking and curbs any non-work activities that I may want to indulge in.
